Here is a 31 month old, 8.5 lb Florida of ours, caught in February 2016 after using our standard new lake stocking program. We also helped this land owner design the fish habit and structure during his lake renovation.
Founded in 1983, Tyler Fish Farms has helped thousands of pond and lake owners grow and sustain trophy fish.
After working at two private hatcheries in Texas, Bob Waldrop early in his career saw the need for pure genetics, especially Florida Bass, Coppernose Bluegill, and Threadfin Shad. This is our core philosophy. Good genetics in good habitat produces great fishing.
"Treat customers the way we would want to be treated" – that's always been our philosophy at Tyler Fish Farms. You see, early on in my career I noted the need for accountability in the stocker fish business. Standards needed to be set. The benchmark for genetic quality, stocking recommendations and advice in general needed to be raised. I've worked hard to do just that.
Since the 1970s I've also believed that high catch rate, fast growing, pure Florida bass are the best largemouth bass to raise. These are not hybrids or mixed bass, nor are they hard to catch. You can see how our fish perform.
I hope you find our website interesting and informative. As always, please don't hesitate to get in touch with us.
